- How do you define WORSHIP? (In other words, what does WORSHIP mean to you??)
To show reverence and adoration for a deity and honor with religious rites.
- What was your role in the film? (Vocalist, Instrumental, Production Crew)
My role in this film is an audio engineer and sound editor.
- Have you had any professional training? Vocal? Instrumental? Production/Film Crew?
I’ve studied audio engineering at MTSU and have worked on several films as crew in production and post-production. So only on the job training.
- Are you active in your own church and if so, in which way/role(s)?
Yes. Role: Man.
- What do YOU think are the biggest misconceptions people have when it comes to gospel music, worship, and/or faith-based films?
That certain material might exist for a purpose other than monetary profit.
- Favorite Gospel artist?
Richard Smallwood.
- What is your go-to GOSPEL jam (song/artist)?
"It's Working".
- Favorite PSALM or BIBLE VERSE?
Philippians 4:13.
- How much of a role/impact would you say your faith has (or has had) in how you go about your everyday life?
My faith plays a very critical role in my everyday life for the simple fact that I am always in pursuit of more knowledge and new information each and everyday. I believe that if I continue to seek then I will continue to find.
- What are your thoughts on live-stream TV evangelists?
None.
- How long have you been a believer? Did you grow up in the Church?
Around 8 years.
- Have you ever felt judged for your faith or your beliefs, and/or been criticized for being too enthusiastic in how you worship? Share a particular experience if you’d like.
Yes.
- Of the three, which do you most prefer: ministry, prayer, or worship?
I don’t have a preference for one over another.
- What message do you hope is conveyed in the release of this documentary? What impact do you hope this film will have?
I hope the film will be a great success.
- How do you know the director, Alan Nettles and what led you to become involved in this project?
I met Alan Nettles through working on the film “3 Blind Boys on The Block” as sound editor.
