Keo Brown is a singer, daughter, mother, fiancé, and an Oakwood University graduate.

She’s currently an Associate Program Manager in the Section of Surgical Sciences at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Did you originally know the history of "The Legends" that are in this story, or did you find out about them because of this play? 

*Answer: Yes, I knew the history of the Legends


Do you think the history of the Civil Rights movement is still prevalent today?

*Answer: Absolutely

*Answer: Yes, I show up whenever able and support financially

Keo will be heard singing the riveting, African-American spiritual “Calvary” at the climax in the show. A song made popular by Mahalia Jackson.
